Lycra Bonanza

To go with my earlier post, I thought you’d all appreciate a bit of lycra; those tight fitting clothes which always get our imagination running riot. Enjoy.

Greg Rutherford Breaks UK Record

Congratulations to Greg Rutherford who set a new UK Long Jump record (8.3m) at the World Championships in Berlin. I’m a sucker for a redhead and he’s one gorgeous althlete, he’s only 22 years old and has a great career ahead of him.

Speedos Banned!!!!

What idiot ever thought of this? Alton Towers is a theme park in the midlands, of the UK, and has a large water park. They have now banned speedos. The BBC news website says:

The theme park in Staffordshire is banning all types of tight swimming trunks on grounds of taste. “To prevent embarrassment among fellow members of the public and to maintain the family friendly atmosphere at the resort, bosses have taken the extreme measure of banning these tight trunks,” a spokesman said.
“They’re more suited to Spain than Staffordshire” – A spokesman for Alton Towers on why it’s banning Speedo-style swimming trunks.

So let’s get this straight. Women can wear swimsuits that show off, and don’t hide, the mounds of their breasts, you can even see when their nipples are hard and poking the fabric. But a man can’t wear a swimsuit that shows the mound of his package. This is sexism! Women don’t have to wear baggy tops to cover the evidence of their sex, but men have to wear baggy shorts to cover their sex.

All this is despite what the continent (mainland Europe) has found, making men and boys wear speedos means that the water quality of the water is higher as they are only worn at the pool and not outside where they pick up dirt.

Take a look at these pictures, are they distasteful? I don’t think so. Let me know what you think of this atrocious policy.
