Screeve Updated

Please welcome Nathan Jones to Screeve. He joins us with a couple of erotic stories. ‘Invitation To Enter’, is a story of a college student who makes a new friend in the library and ‘Surprise! Surprise! tells the tale of three friends losing their job and taking a holiday. I know you’ll enjoy them so please give Nathan a big Screeve welcome.

I am also starting a page dedicated to Sebastian Wallace, a great writer that has now disappeared from the scene. I’ve been a fan of his writing for years and recently I tried to contact him to invite him onto Screeve but unfortunately all his email addresses have stopped working. Sebastian has many fans out there all wondering where he is and what he’s up to now. Well, I cannot help on that score but I do still want to showcase his excellent writing. So, I will provide you with links to his great stories.

I have also amended the layout slightly to a less constrained version. This way it should fill your browser whichever resolution you have set. Please email me if any pages haven’t changed, links don’t work or you experience any other problems.

I know it’s been just over a fortnight for this update but I hope it’s been worth it. I was hoping to give you another chapter of Three Tears but I’ve not had the chance to go through and edit the chapter. Fingers crossed for next week. Here are the updates for all your favourite series and let’s not forget another great short story from Alexander.

It's Cold, Very Cold

I’m so glad I managed to get back from Kent yesterday, I had thought I’d be snowed in. The UK is under the grip of a very bad bout of arctic weather. Parts of the UK are getting temperatures of -18c. The last time we had weather like this was in the 1980′s. As usual we are in meltdown, we’re running out of grit for the roads, the railways are working sporadically and the airports are closed, then open, then closed. And we’re running out of gas. Twice now we’ve had to limit supply to industry and get more down the pipeline from Norway just so we can keep our heating going.

This sort of weather is due to continue for another 10 days at least. And I know we’re not the only country suffering. But as you can see from the photograph, our entire isles are covered.

Three Tears Starts Again!

Happy New Year all you fellow Screevers. And to start the year off I have updated Screeve with some new chapters of continuing series and a new short story from Alexander.

I have been promising this for ages, years in fact, and now it has finally arrived. I have started Three Tears again and intend to see it through to its conclusion. I hope it is well worth the wait as it is the first series of mine and the one I have divested most in, emotionally. That is why it has been so difficult for me to conclude the series. There is a lot of me in this series, one character in particular; I will leave it to all of you to guess which one. James, Martin, Phil, Tom or Tony. Relationships start to flower and get more physical but it is the emotional turmoil that is to come that has really effected me and stopped me from writing those scenes. I have found it difficult to confront those emotions and still do not think I can do them t justice.

I’ll let you all in a little secret, I only have three new chapters so far and already I am starting to feel unsettled; the boys have so much to face, so much uncertainty. As I said, this is the most emotional series for me and I am starting to feel it already. I feel it so intensely like they are my children and in some sense they are, and in another, a little of me is in all of them. It may be called ‘Three Tears’ but each chapters brings far more from me, whether it comes across on the page is debatable, if only a small amount does then I’ll be happy.

But this update is not all about ‘Three Tears’. I also bring you a new chapter of Kieren Connors’ excellent ‘Brae’. Kieren has taken the cliche of a swim team and turned it into brilliant series of a college guy who is on a swim team and all the trials and tribulations of going to college (or university in the UK)

Then there is ‘Perfection Is Overrated’. Bradley has brought us some great characters and a fantastic dynamic between them all. The relationship between Ted, Darren and Kyle is riveting. A great series that just keeps me waiting for the next chapter.

Finally, we have a new short story from Alexander. ‘Gay And Ghostly’ is fascinating. I must admit that I am a little obsessed with what happens to us when we die and I only hope that when we do die that we get a choice of what happens to us. If we do, I want to have the control that Simon has.

All the links are below so delve in and enjoy these New Tear offerings.
